The basic problem of the disease is persistent inflammation of respiratory mucosa lining.
Inflamed mucosa becomes hypersensitive to inhaled allergen
Once allergen enters the airway hypersensitive, inflamed mucosa produces intense reactions to give rise to the symptoms of asthma e.g. breathlessness, cough wheezing.
Aim of treatment is to keep the level of inflammation to the minimum possible level with inhalation therapy.
Once inflammation reduced the airway mucosa becomes less sensitive and the diseases improve.
Avoid most common allergen exposures by getting away from places where brooming & dusting works is going on. Avoid exposures to smoke of any kind like CHULLAH AGARBATTI.
Avoid smoking – both active and passive.
Avoid using deodorants, perfumes, talcum powder.
